Project: Feed and Treat
Lombok, Indonesia
In Lombok, we support a small local team caring for street dogs who would otherwise go unseen.
Every day, they head out to find, feed, treat and monitor dogs in urgent need. Many are suffering from parasite infections, open wounds, traffic injuries, neglect, or cruelty. Ivermectin treatment helps protect dogs from painful parasite infections, which are sadly widespread due to the sheer number of street dogs in the area. Left untreated, wounds can quickly become infected, often leading to maggots and severe skin damage.
But their work rarely stops there. Along the way, the team regularly finds abandoned puppies, injured dogs, and sometimes entire litters left in bags. With limited resources and a huge need, this small crew keeps showing up.
Their work is quiet, practical and life-changing. And it needs to continue.
